2023 Spring Season

Ave Maria Little League is excited to announce that REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the 2023 spring season until January 20, 2023.

You may register your child through our website at Ave Maria Little League. During the registration process, you will be asked if you can confirm eligibility to play within the boundary of the Ave Maria Little League and it provides you an option to submit paperwork. You may select the continue option if you are unable to upload the documents successfully to process your registration. Upon finalizing your registration, you will be prompted to complete a Medical Release form. This form is required for your child to participate. Please complete and email to [email protected].

Before registering your child, please review the Little League Age Chart ( see attached) to serve as a guide in the divisions your child may be eligible to play. You may also reference the Little League Age Calculator.

Based upon registration totals, we anticipate to having teams in the following divisions*

Baseball Ages
Tee Ball 4-7
Minor League 7-12
Major League 9-12
Junior League 12-14

Softball Ages
Minor League 7-12
Major League 9-12

*Player evaluations will be hosted on different dates for players 7 years and older. Player evaluations serve as a means to evaluate your child’s skill set in order for placement on a team appropriate for his/her level of skill. Note: All major league age division players must attend a player evaluation in order to be placed on a team.

Player evaluations will be held in January as follows.

**February 11 is reserved for those who were unable to make it to the scheduled day. Please be mindful that it is important for proper assessment of your child to attend the scheduled date. Make-up evaluations will consist of all players and evaluations may not give a full assessment of your child’s skill set.

Lastly, we will also host a parent meeting on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 6:00 pm at Fellowship Church Ave Maria located at 5330 Ave Maria Blvd (next to the Mobil Gas Station) for parents who wish to register in person. The Board will also take the time to discuss any updates regarding the district, current little league updates, coach and umpire clinics, and much more!

We are so proud to maintain the title as the District 18 Champs (9-11 year olds) as we enter a new season and hopeful we will continue to etch the Ave Maria Little League name across the other divisions as we continually pursue excellence in character, on the field, and in our community.
